Russell Ford leads Qumulus with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. As Qumulus' President and Chief Operating Officer, he manages the strategic direction of the company in addition to the day-to-day operations. Mr. Ford's duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating operations for the company in multiple territories, developing and executing the company's expansion strategy, managing relationships with key clients and creating strategic alliances to drive cost-effective growth and financial stability.
Prior to joining Qumulus, Mr. Ford held the position of Director of Sales and Business Development for Cincinnati Bell, a publicly traded telecommunications and data center services provider. Mr. Ford also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for one of the largest privately held ISPs in the Midwest—Internet Services Management Group and as Director of Sales for one of the largest privately held data center providers in the Midwest, GramTel USA.
Mr. Ford has been responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through operational excellence and relationship building in each of his positions. He also managed multi-year customer engagements to deliver enterprise solutions for medium- and large-scale businesses.
Mr. Ford has a wide-breadth of experience that has enabled him to continually surpass financial goals required by each of his previous positions. He specializes in network, data center, data storage, security and information technology sales.
Mr. Ford has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University as well as a host of technology certifications.
