Brian Manns

Brian Manns is a Sr. Information Security Engineer at Qumulus Solutions with 15 years of experience working in the information technology industry. In his current position, Brian performs vulnerability assessments and penetration test for Qumulus Solutions.

Prior to Qumulus Brian worked in the education sector in public and private schools for over 10 years. Brian was responsible for IT infrastructures that supported daily functions of both students and staff. This included web filtering, switching, phones, firewalls, servers and backups.   

Brian has also worked in healthcare, where he was responsible for items such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Firewall, Site-to-Site VPNs for PAC systems, prenatal monitoring systems. Healthcare is also where Brian got to implement technologies that would help identify client machines that were talking to command and control servers and was responsible for endpoint security. 

Brian currently holds a bachelor’s in business information technology from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also has the following certifications Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Comptia Network +, Comptia A+, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Security +, Certified Sonicwall Security Administrator, Security +.
